We are recruiting a Research Assistant to work in the deaf x lab and the newly created SPaCE Center at RIT/NTID. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Linguistics or a related field, and be able to communicate in ASL (and spoken or written English). Experience with EEG, eye tracking, and/or computer programming (Psychtoolbox, Python, R) a definite advantage.

This is position is ideal for someone who wants to work for a few years before applying to grad school for a PhD. The deaf x lab and the SPaCE Center provide safe, accessible environments in which young researchers can learn, make mistakes, and grow. We advocate for full accessibility for deaf and hard-of-hearing staff and students, and promote Open Science practices. Come join us!
