We seek an exceptionally talented scholar in sign linguistics, with a focus on experimental and/or theoretical approaches and interests in language acquisition. The post-doctoral research associate will be an active member of UConn’s Sign Linguistics and Language Acquisition Laboratory. Anticipated start date August 23, 2022; the initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. The position carries a teaching load of one course per year. Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D., research interests in sign linguistics, strong research trajectory. Preferred: Communicative fluency in ASL; strong commitment to research in the areas of sign language acquisition and/or bimodal bilingualism.
