Benefits Eligibility: Regular with benefitsA two-year research position in sign language psycholinguistics at the Postdoctoral level is available in the Laboratory for Language and Cognitive Neuroscience at San Diego State University (Dr. Karen Emmorey, Director). A doctoral degree is required and applicants must have a background in psycholinguistics, experimental design, strong knowledge of Excel and SPSS (or other statistical software). Conversational ASL fluency is required. The successful candidate will contribute to on-going experimental research on working memory in deaf and studies of sign language production and comprehension. The successful candidate will also supervise research assistants and student volunteers.
Salary is dependent upon number of years research experience ($38,496-$48,900). Both Deaf and hearing candidates are encouraged to apply.
