Two PhD positions in sign language linguistics are announced at Leiden University Centre for Linguistics. The PhD projects are part of a larger project investigating the structure of size and shape expressions in sign languages and co-speech gesture in West Africa and the United States. Goal of the project is to further our understanding of how sign languages relate to gesture.
